Welcome to Mini Masters! 🎨

We’re so excited to have your child join us on this creative journey! This 8-week course will introduce young artists to the elements of art in a fun, hands-on way. Each session will focus on a different element, using engaging activities and famous artists as inspiration.

What Your Child Will Learn:

Throughout the course, children will explore:

βœ… Line – Drawing and moving with different kinds of lines
βœ… Shape – Recognizing and using shapes in art
βœ… Color – Mixing colors and understanding how they interact
βœ… Texture – Exploring how things feel and look in art
βœ… Value – Learning about light and dark in art
βœ… Space – Understanding size and perspective
βœ… Form – Creating 3D artworks
βœ… Creative Expression – Building confidence and having fun with art!

What to Expect Each Week:

Each 45-60 minute class will include:

πŸ– A short introduction to the weekly art element
πŸ– A hands-on sensory or movement activity
πŸ– A creative art project inspired by a famous artist
πŸ– A time to reflect and share their artwork

This course is process-focused, meaning the goal is to explore and create rather than produce a perfect final product.Β

Course Policy
  • We’re so excited to have your child join us for this creative adventure! To make sure everything runs smoothly, please review the following policies:
    1. Parents Stay Onsite – A parent or guardian must remain at the location during class to support their little artist as needed.
    2. Be on Time – Classes start promptly, so please arrive on time to ensure your child doesn’t miss any of the fun!
    3. Attendance for Completion Certificate – To receive a Certificate of Completion, students need to attend at least 6 out of 8 classes (80%).
    4. Registration & Payment – To secure your child’s spot, the weekly fee and one-time supply fee must be paid at least one week before the course begins.
    5. Missed Classes – Because we purchase supplies in advance, we aren’t able to offer make-up classes or refunds for missed sessions.
    6. Refund Policy – Due to the purchase of supplies and securing the location, no refunds will be issued after April 21, 2025.
    7. Photos & Videos – We may take photos of artwork and record parts of our sessions to celebrate and share the creativity happening in class! If you prefer your child not be photographed, just let us know on the waiver.

Thanks for helping us make this a wonderful experience for all of our Mini Masters! We can’t wait to create together!

Cost Break Down
  • One-Time Supply Fee: $30 per student (covers all art materials for the full 8-week course)
  • Weekly Fee (Paid at Registration): $30 per week per family (covers all participating children in the household)
  • For families with more than one student, each additional student is $5
    • Siblings not participating in the class are free to attend as long as room capacity permits. *see the sibling policy for more information.

Total Cost Examples:

  • 1 child: $30/week + $30 supply fee = $270 total
  • 2 children: $30/week + $5/week + $60 supply fee = $340 total
  • 3 children: $30/week + $5/week + $5/week+ $90 supply fee = $410 total

The supply fee ensures each student has their own materials for the full session. Weekly fees cover instruction, space, and additional class resources.

Missed Class Policy

Due to the nature of this course, Exploring the Elements of Art, missed classes cannot be made up at this time, and refunds will not be issued.

This is because all materials and supplies are purchased in advance for each student to ensure a smooth and engaging experience.

If your child misses a session, we encourage you to review the weekly lesson on the website and try the suggested At-Home Idea to explore the element of art from that week. Additionally, any materials provided for that class may be sent home if applicable.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we create a fun and inspiring art experience for all students!

Sibling Policy

We love families! The room capacity for our Mini Masters class is 30 people, so older and younger siblings are welcome to attend free of charge as long as they are not participating in the class. They must be included on the registration form so that we have an accurate headcount.

Free Play Supplies: We will provide some basic art materials for siblings to engage in free play while the class is in session.

However, the main instruction and structured activities will be reserved for registered students. Older siblings may assist their younger siblings.

Parental Supervision: We kindly ask that parents ensure siblings are supervised and respect the learning environment for our Mini Masters artists.

Thank you for understanding, and we can’t wait to create together!

Photography and Videography Policy

To document and celebrate our students’ creativity, teaching sessions may be recorded, and photos may be taken of student artwork throughout the course. These images and videos may be used for educational purposes, future class promotions, or shared with families to highlight our creative journey.

We respect the privacy of all families. If you do not want your child to be photographed or appear in recordings, you must indicate so on the waiver. We will ensure your child is not included in any shared images or videos.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us showcase the wonderful creativity of our Mini Masters!
